Century's Bangus Makeover

When a chef becomes creative and is pushed to creativity Century-Style, here's what happens to a local favorite in a test kitchen. The Bangus is no longer just for the yummy Daing na Bangus.

The Century Bangus Salad with Caramelized Pear & Walnuts

The dish was a delight in every bite, in it a little bit of everything - caramelized pears, walnuts, tomatoes, greens, alfalfa sprouts and, of course, tasty, fried and marinated boneless bangus tossed in honey lemon vinaigrette.

The Century Bangus and Kani Burrito

It was a big-sized sushi with cooked bangus. I would make this one next time without the wasabi (not a big fan of wasabi).

Century Bangus & Farfalle A La Genovese

It was the first time I heard of bangus in pasta. Perfect and light pesto pasta bangus mix.

As the national fish, I believe that Filipinos must continuously innovate and make use of its abundance. Kudos to the Century Pacific Group for giving the limelight to the Century Quality Premium Bangus and for coming up with these creative recipes.

Want a copy of these recipes? Just leave your email below and I will send them to you. If you prefer to eat Bangus in another way, you might want to try a new Yoshinoya dish called Century Bangus Kabayaki. Girl Kuripot is giving away Yoshinoya GCs here!
