Love Changes Everything

Eight amazing people sang of love and how it changes everything in Manila tonight. It was love for theater that inspired Andrew Lloyd Webber to make his music. It is my love for music that made me come and watch tonight. I've only seen The Phantom of the Opera in Broadway and Cats in Manila. Now, I would love to see Evita, Tell Me on a Sunday and Aspects of Love. The experience of live music about love for country, self-less love, selfish love, fun love, love for self, love for a dream, love against all odds and all other kinds of love have triggered a last song syndrome that will probably keep me humming for the next few days.

Most of all, tonight's show was a reminder of how a man could change the world. His musicals made stars and can still touch the lives of people like mine. There's something very inspiring when I heard them sing "there's a light at the end of the tunnel" and "i must not give in, when the dawn comes, tonight will be a memory too and a new day will begin". The song "No Matter What" of Boyzone even makes sense tonight and was the most entertaining of all. By the end of the evening, I was thinking of love and how it could change my life from this day on. Love will never let you be the same.

  1. Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber has written some of the most commercially successful musicals of the last quarter of the 20th century.Including my favorite The Cats.
