'Tis the season for many holiday reunions in Manila - family reunions, friendly reunions, high school friends reunions, college barkada reunions, other barkada reunions, anniversary reunions, association reunions and Christmas reunions. This has been in my wishlist for so many months now - to go back to Annabel Lee with music-lover friends for a reunion and to sing with a real live professional pianist every week. Hahaha.
Why not sing in front of people and regulars who appreciate music instead of karaoke until 1 a.m.? This pianist slows down to your pace and encourages you to give it all out. The regulars sing all out performance mode, the talented family who owns this place belt out their hit songs and the audience clap when you've done your piece.
There are plenty of songs to choose from, especially the good old melodies and all time favorites...
You see the wall? It's been featured in movies and it highlights what Annabel Lee is known for - Cheesecakes. Jeff and I keep coming back for the Crakatoa hehehe.
There are lots of American food to choose from too.
The piano bar happens every Friday and Saturday night for a minimum consumable of around P250 per person. I haven't seen any other piano bar in Manila like this yet. Preparing for a comeback... hahaha. This place is included in my Guiltless Getaways picks of restaurants in Manila.
